By law we must not deal with people or organisations on official sanctions lists, so we check every customer, agent, payee and payment against the UK, UN and US lists. Most checks clear in seconds. When a name is similar to one on a list, a person on our team looks at it. If we ask you a question, answering it quickly is the fastest way to clear the check.
