Steps: Decide whether to assess within six weeks; Gather advice; Draft the plan; Issue the final plan within 20 weeks. Done when: The final plan is issued within 20 weeks of the request with each advice received. Rules that apply: Children and Families Act 2014 s36 and s37; SEND code of practice.
