Open a personal account

A person opens a personal account, alone or with an agent preparing it under the person's mandate. Identity is checked by a photo of an identity document, a read of the document's chip, a selfie and a liveness check, plus sanctions and politically exposed person screening. Every check shows its result in plain words with its evidence and confidence. When a check fails the person can try again, verify in person at an EDGE point, or challenge the result and have it reviewed by a named person.
